Songs of Istanbul brings the historical and cultural richness of Istanbul to the Dutch stage with its own songs while preserving the historical traditions of Istanbul with the great singer Şevval Sam and successful violinist Çisem Özkurt, accompanied by traditional instruments and modern arrangements.

For more than 2000 years, Istanbul has served as a meeting point for people from different nations, many of them leaving their mark on its colorful cultural heritage.
